Proof Leopard IS a Neutral

Love it or hate it, leopard is here to stay. A closet staple for years, but lately leopard has taken a turn for the mainstream and we are here to show you that it CAN be paired with pretty much anything. There are a few tips and tricks to keep it looking street chic rather than streetwalker. So stay with us because we are sure you will become a convert if you're not already borderline obsessed.

Rather than opting for the basic black accessories or blazer to throw on with your prints, leopard print can add a modern twist with an eye catching look to elevate your street style. Read on below to get some ideas on how to incorporate leopard into your look.

1) Opt for small prints. This gal does it just right with a thin striped button down in a pale blue with a small leo print mini skirt. Casual, but fun, this look doesn't seem over the top but adds interest with the color palette and small prints. Especially on a petite frame, opting for small, delicate prints with be your best option.

2) Throw in two leopard pieces, but again, be size conscience. She gets it right keeping her clutch and pants around the same style/size print and the rest of our outfit a neutral color palette. Add fun extras like oversized sunnies and gold shoulder grazing earrings.

3) Feelin' real frisky? Try three prints and keep the color pallet simple. Our babe here gets it just right with a beige plaid tan blazer, black and white striped tee and silky slip skirt. Accessories should stay simple like her coin pendant and Dior Saddle Bag. As far as footswear, we would recommend white sneakers or simple black ankle boots.

4) A pop of color and texture. We love how she styled this. Taking a textured red dress that could normally be seen as evening wear, but makes it office appropriate by pairing a leopard coat AND leopard pumps. Her leather gloves are the perfect addition to stay cozy and luxe.

Still not sold? Ease your way into it by adding one accessories like shoes or a bag. Her outfit is easy to wear with tailored pieces and the gingham on top with leopard on bottom is still a great way to add the animal print trend into your wardrobe.
